Job Summary
The Lead, Organization Effectiveness and Change Leadership consults with leaders to provide customized and practical solutions to challenges across a range of enterprise-wide transformation programs. The director is responsible for leading the strategy, design and development of activities, tracking and integrating, communications, and integrating HR and Talent Management activities into the overall program plan. Key responsibilities include:
Lead organizational design efforts following best practices with customized implementation approaches based on business needs
Create the strategies required to implement new org structures including communication plans, knowledge transition frameworks, etc.
Apply expert knowledge of Change Management to business and growth initiatives and define best solutions to meet unique business requirements.
Lead stakeholder management, change planning, change impact analyses, change agent networks, case for change development, change readiness evaluation, transition activities, and success criteria evaluation
Identification and assessment of current-state and desired-state organizational culture and capabilities and defining programs to reinforce culture
Build and maintain an integrated project plan for People and Change workstream, tracking the status, risks, issues and action items for change management, communications, HR Business Partners, HR Operations and Talent Management, and reporting to enterprise PMO
Oversee change practitioners and collaborate with the business, Human Resources partners, and third-party providers to ensure a seamless implementation of enterprise-wide programs
Keep current on leading practices and industry trends
Define requirements for the processes and tools needed to execute and identifies barriers to successful implementation of change programs/solutions
Align the right structure, cultural context, and practices to drive employee adoption of change
Coach and support HR and business leaders on the execution of change initiatives and frameworks, culture, employee experience, org design, operating models, leadership alignment, and stakeholder management, and effective communication techniques
Build and manage a budget for workforce planning and resources, including managing and evaluating consultant Request for Proposals
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
10+ years of human resources and business experience is required
8+ years Organization Design and/or Change Management experience
Critical Skills
Experience with leading functions through significant enterprise transformation efforts required
Organizational Development/Design/Effectiveness/Operating Model experience required
Business mindset: able to understand the business and financial conditions, link HR and business strategy, and identify ways to improve business performance
Consulting skills: able to tailor communication style to work well with stakeholders at all levels in the organization; effective at influencing, facilitating, and problem solving
Must have the professional presence to interact and influence senior leaders
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with business leaders to develop and execute plans, leveraging various teams across an organization is required
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Ability to navigate and influence within a complex, matrixed organization
International experience
Leveraging data and technology: Able to effectively identify, utilize and present data in a way that facilitates evidence-based decision-making
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task, manage changing priorities and meet aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Track record of taking initiative/being proactive, leading complex projects, working in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple, changing priorities with excellent attention to detail / follow-through
Track record of success measuring and evaluating program effectiveness and/or tracking progress towards behavioral change
Strong interpersonal and consulting skills: ability to assess needs, collaborate and deliver practical solutions that drive results; an excellent listener that seeks to understand multiple viewpoints
Ability to effectively influence and communicate across all levels and multiple environments
Proven ability to build strong and trusting relationships across multiple teams and departments
Proven ability to create a positive culture, with high morale and strong performance
Ability to lead a team of employees, delivery partners, and/or contractors
Ability to speak French preferred but not essential.
Education /Certifications
4-year degree in human resources, business or related field, masterโs degree preferred.
Certified HR certification preferred, unless an advanced degree is attained.
