Responsabilités spécifiques

  • Supervise, gère le travail et le rendement de son équipe d’employés syndiqués. tout ce qui connexe à santé et sécurité, qualité et optimation des opérations et la fluidité des opérations

Gestion de chauffeurs avec la service à la clientele

Assurer les opérations de nos livraisions selon nos normes qualité respectées * Fournit les données relatives aux mesures de productivité, à la qualité, à l’absentéisme, etc.

  • Planifie son secteur afin de faciliter le travail lors de promotions spéciales ou événements saisonniers.
  • Maintient la communication avec les autres départements pour tout problème relatif à son secteur.
  • Maintient un excellent environnement de travail axé sur le travail d’équipe et la communication ouverte.
  • Participe à tout projet d’entrepôt (élaboration et exécution).
  • Fournit au service de la paie les informations nécessaires à la paie des employés
  • Effectue toutes les autres tâches exigées par son supérieur.
  • Détermine les ressources humaines requises pour l’exécution du travail, délègue des responsabilités et l’autorité nécessaire à ses subordonné(e)s, recommande au besoin des changements structurels et organisationnels.
  • Assure la formation de ses subordonné(e)s, évalue leur rendement et leurs progrès, les encourage et les aide d’une façon régulière dans leur perfectionnement et les prépare à assumer de nouvelles responsabilités
  • Veille à ce que les politiques de la compagnie soient respectées et à l’application de la convention collectives.
  • Participer activement et de promouvoir un environnement de travail positif sécuritaire pour les employés de McKesson Canada.

Exigences du poste

  • Bilinguisme
  • Excellente connaissance de MS Office.
  • Expérience prouvée de diriger diverses équipes en vue d’atteindre les objectifs grâce à des pratiques de gestion collaborative et participative ;
  • Posséder 5-8 ans d’expérience en gestion idéalement dans une entreprise de distribution à haut volume ;
  • Diplôme d’études collégiales ou un diplôme universitaire en gestion d’entreprise ou de la chaîne d’approvisionnement est préférable. Une combinaison de l’éducation et de l’expérience directement liée peut être envisagée ;
  • Expérience en milieu syndiqué un atout ; ou transport un atout
  • Expérience à titre de PQRS (Personne qualifiée responsable suppléante) serait un atout;
  • Expérience avec l’application de Six Sigma ; autre système amélioration continue.

Status: 1 year contract possibility of permanency

As an Operations Supervisor, you will be required to supervise a team of unionized employees, ensuring the logistical coordination and optimum productivity of the shift. This includes (but is not limited to) the supervision of shipping and receiving, stock maintenance and picking, health and safety procedures and ensuring adherence to McKesson’s standard operating procedures. Job Duties

  • Ensure optimum shift productivity through communication and monitoring of KPI targets and results
  • Support training and communication of SOPs to relevant employees as required
  • In collaboration with DCM, monitor application of SOPs
  • Organize staff training and development including equipment operating safety procedures
  • Monitor performance and conduct annual performance reviews and/ or performance improvement plans as required
  • Confer with management or subordinates to resolve worker problems, complaints and grievances
  • Communicate safety policies in accordance with applicable federal safety standards and local laws
  • Support special projects and assignments
  • Maintains communications with other departments with regard to any problem related to his/her sector
  • Maintains excellent working environment focused on teamwork and open communication

Position Requirements

  • Must be Bilingual
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s Degree an asset
  • Knowledge of Health Canada’s GMP Regulations an asset
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite : Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Distribution Operations an asset
  • 3-5 years supervisory experience an asset
  • Strong analytical skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience working within in a unionized environment is an asset and transportation asset.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and work effectively under pressure
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities
  • Strong communication and collaboration capabilities
